About LumiVoce

LumiVoce was founded in 2016 in order to shed light (Lumi) on the plight of wildlife that are being driven to near extinction by human demand, and to provide a voice (Voce) so that these endangered species may be heard, loved and protected.  LumiVoce harnesses the power of innovative music to demonstrate the interconnectedness of all living things, and inspires people to protect our natural heritage, our planet earth.

We were moved to action to engage people to love and protect wildlife, and to reduce demand in critical markets like Hong Kong and China when we learned that every 15 minutes an elephant is killed for its ivory, that rhinos are soon to be extinct in the wild, that we have lost 58% of the planet’s wildlife since the 1970s, and we are continuing to lose them at 1000 times the normal background rate.

At present, we have two projects:  1) Ensoul album and 2) Wildlife Stories Series (WSS).  The Ensoul album combines sounds of nature and wildlife with an iconic melody from the Western classical tradition and blends in diverse rhythms and instrumentation from Africa.   The other project is Wildlife Stories Series (WSS).  “Tell a child a touching story and it will stay with them for a lifetime”. Part of LumiVoce’s mission is to positively engage the young through emotive storytelling.  We aim to educate and turn potential wildlife consumers into wildlife protectors.
